PTBnews 1.2020 – Within the scope of the work on the redefinition of the base unit kelvin, PTB developed a new method for pressure measurement based on the capacitance measurement of helium gas. From the first attempt, it was almost as good as the world’s best method for pressure measurement with a piston manometer.
